About Us

Kaleidoscope Childcare and Preschool is an institution for children ages 2 and a half to 5 years old. 

 

We are located near Marina Del Ray in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood in Westchester, which is 5 minutes from Culver City, 10 minutes from El Segundo, and 20 minutes from Santa Monica. 

 

We are a primarily Russian daycare and want to hold on to the Russian language and traditions, but any preparation and lessons are designed to benefit children with all language backgrounds. 

 

We intend not just to be a place where children spend time while their parents are at work, but a place where children are provided with an early foundation for their future education.  

 

Studies show that during the formative stages of a child's development, it is crucial that they develop socialization and the visualization of learning tools. It is our goal to help all children who enter our care to achieve their full potential as the fun-loving creatures they are! 

 

We have lessons incorporating live music, science, math, speech development, Russian and English language, yoga, and the complete preparation into kindergarden at school.

We really aim to give your child a well-rounded experience here at Kaleidoscope. 

 

We are proud to announce that we use no televisions in our lessons, only music and storytelling. Our music teacher brings in live instruments that children can play themselves. Our daycare chef prepares healthy food that is all organic! 

 

Children have outside play time to socialize in the fresh air, and are greatly encouraged to participate in creative projects that help their imaginations grow. 

 

Every week has a different theme that has related activities and lessons, and every Friday we have a theme-based arts and crafts project. 

 

Kaleidoscope Childcare and Preschool gives children the opportunity to communicate with their peers, as well as to understand the importance of discipline, self-awareness, and self-confidence.
